Community Connections at Auburn Cruise Night

Last Friday, Jasmine and our team had a great time representing Sowing Seeds at the Auburn Cruise Night! Despite the intense heat, the event was full of energy and meaningful conversations. We spoke with many community members—some interested in services for themselves, others for family and friends.

Our spinning prize wheel was a crowd favorite, drawing lots of people to our table and giving us a chance to share what Sowing Seeds is all about. The can cozies and water bottles were a big hit too—we almost ran out!

While we weren’t able to complete enrollments onsite due to the flow of traffic, we encouraged attendees to call or text us during the week to get started. We also learned that a banner or sign would help people spot us more easily next time, and we’re excited to improve our setup.

Special thanks to the event organizers for being so welcoming and helpful. We’re looking forward to the August and September Cruise Nights, which are expected to be even bigger!
